High Violet by National
another good album from the nationals. alternative rock with passion, great lyrics sung in that deep dark voice typical of all their music. This album is more on the dark side but not as dark as earlier albums . it's not dance music. Great musicianship but the production in a few places is poor. the first few songs, in my opinion, have a little to much feedback. Check them out, still worth the dime.
