| Customer Reviews: Mojo, Tom Petty & the heartbreakers August 29, 2010 JJ" Amazing TP CD, long over due after such a long break. Heavier than Tom"s previous releases. He let Mike Campbell break loose on this release and you can really hear the talent this axeman has. I have always admired his guitar playing and his talent really shows on this release. The ambience is a nice change from regular releases and sounds incredible. Some die hard fans may be disapointed by the departure of their regular sound, but not this fan. I would put it up there as one of their best to date. Not bad for a man who will soon be 60 !
Much Mojo Indeed... August 12, 2010 Walt Not necessarily a huge Tom Petty fan but am familiar with most of his work. This has got to be his most diverse and best album to date. Great guitar and some intreresting topics tackled in the lyrics. I particularly love the bluesy songs, of which there are a few, and would love Mr. Petty to do a whole album of blues...Great listening.
They did it again!!!! July 28, 2010 Dana Scott This si his best work since Wildflowers. It has everything, jazz, funk, THE BLUES, rock n' roll and soul. I love the fact that most of the recordings were done in one or two takes, now that's music. It's nice to know that some do it without the technology. I have seen them is show and it's one of my top 5 of all time!!! I think any fan will love this cd!! Don't cheat yourself on just singles buy the whole disc!!
Petty got his Mojo BACK!!! July 19, 2010 Mike Davis (Edmonton AB) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
This is the best Tom Petty and the heartbreakers album yet.
The guitar work is phenomenal!
A great mix of songs.
A must have for petty fans.
To offset the two dummys - 5 stars June 22, 2010 Steven Burke (Earth) 2 out of 4 found this review helpful
I'll update this with an actual review when the title comes out.
Why Amazon allows reviews of unreleased products is beyond me, because it lets fools like the guy giving this a 1-star review screw up a product rating.
What is wrong with you people, use the US Amazon discussion forums for this.
CALL Amazon and tell them they have it listed wrong, are you foolish enough to think they scour reviews looking for LISTING feedback?
Damn it, you guys are infuriating.
